Why We Built This Site
Texas court access is spread across custodians. Val Verde County does not publish one local search that covers every court. District Court papers belong with the District Clerk, other county records may route through the County Clerk, and city or precinct matters use their own offices. The site brings those verified routes together while keeping the originating court in control of every official record.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal and civil dockets are routed in Val Verde County
- Court settings: how to read the court schedule and confirm a hearing
- Case lookups: how to use the docket search by name or cause number
- Record requests: how court case records and certified copies are requested
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, clerk, or agency. Its role has clear limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
